What is the purpose of a quick exhaust check valve?

A check valve is also known as a reverse flow valve, check valve, back pressure valve, or one-way valve. This type of valve is automatically opened and closed by the force generated by the flow of the medium itself in the pipeline, and belongs to an automatic valve.

Application of suction check valve:
Quick exhaust check valves are applied to non corrosive medium pipelines such as steam and water in power plants or thermal power plant exhaust systems, or other systems, to prevent the sudden decrease in pressure inside the turbine unit during sudden load shedding, and prevent steam from flowing back into the turbine through the exhaust pipe and various heaters, causing the turbine blades to break and damaging the turbine generator, and to prevent water hammer accidents caused by leakage of the heater system pipeline from the exhaust pipe into the turbine, in order to protect the safe operation of the turbine. As a device to prevent medium backflow, this valve can quickly and tightly close within 0.5 seconds, ensuring that when the water level in the feedwater heater is high, the pneumatic device components receive a liquid backflow signal and quickly isolate the turbine to protect the turbine or exhaust system. Check valves are generally suitable for clean media and should not be used for media containing solid particles and high viscosity.
