Purpose:
This valve is used on non corrosive medium pipelines such as steam and water in power plants or thermal power plant extraction systems, or other systems, to prevent the pressure inside the turbine from suddenly decreasing during sudden load shedding, and to prevent steam from flowing back into the turbine through the extraction pipe and various heaters, causing the turbine blades to break and damaging the turbine generator. It also prevents water hammer accidents caused by leakage of the heater system pipeline and water entering the turbine from the extraction pipe, in order to protect the safe operation of the turbine. As a device to prevent medium backflow, this valve can quickly and tightly close within 0.5 seconds, ensuring that when the water level in the feedwater heater is high, the pneumatic device components receive a liquid backflow signal and quickly isolate the turbine, providing greater protection to the turbine or exhaust system. Check valves are generally suitable for clean media and should not be used for media containing solid particles and high viscosity.
