Structural characteristics of water pressure test plug valve

Structural characteristics of water pressure test plug valve:
1. The valve pressure rating is selected based on being equal to or higher than the design pressure and design temperature.
2. Valves shall be designed, selected, manufactured, inspected and accepted in accordance with relevant standards such as E101, ANSIB16.25JB/T6903, JB/T6440, JB/T6902, JB/T6439, JB/T3595, etc.
3. There are two types of transmission methods available: non transmission and worm gear transmission (as shown in the diagram).
4. Adopting two forms of pressure self tightening sealing structure and bolted valve cover structure, with welded connections at both ends of the branch pipes.
5. Adopting a flat O-ring seal, the valve seat is made of stainless steel overlay welding.
6. For the method without transmission device, a blocking plate is inserted during the hydrostatic test, and after the hydrostatic test, the blocking plate can be removed for multiple hydrostatic tests.
7. The sealing of the blocking plate can be adjusted by adjusting the adjustment screw on the upper end of the support plate to achieve the sealing purpose.
Method and steps for disassembling the experimental blocking valve
(1) Install the disassembly plate and fix it on the valve body, so that the support plate 9 does not move on the shaft;
(Note: Disassembly plates are available for DN500 and above)
⑵ Loosen the nut on the double headed bolt of the support plate, install the spherical tightening screw 7, and push the valve cover 10 downwards to make the four ring 6 have no preload force;
⑶ Remove the disassembly plate and take out the support plate;
⑷ Push out and remove the four ring valve through the small hole on the valve body;
⑸ Screw the valve cover into the lifting ring screw, gently lift out the valve cover, sealing ring, gasket ring and other components, and pay attention to protecting the sealing ring;
Loosen the fastening screws above the support plate and gently lift out the components such as the blocking plate, support plate, and support core.
After the unit is put into operation and stopped, before restarting, the nuts on the double headed bolts installed on the support plate 9 must be tightened again to ensure the sealing of the valve.
