Purpose:
Check valves are installed on water and steam pipelines as devices to prevent medium backflow.
Structural features:
The types of check valves include Y-shaped globe valves, T-shaped check valves, forged and welded check valves, large-diameter Y-shaped check valves, and swing check valves. The structural characteristics are as follows:
1) For check valves with specifications of DN65 and below, the valve body is made of integral die forgings, which have a lightweight structure and high safety.
2) The sealing surface of the valve seat is welded with cobalt based hard alloy or sprayed with Stellite alloy powder, which is wear-resistant, erosion resistant, and has a long service life; The valve core is made of integral Stellite alloy, with a large grinding allowance.
3) Y-shaped check valves are mainly used in steam water systems of supercritical and ultra supercritical units. The valve adopts a DC structure with low flow resistance loss.
4) Large caliber Y-shaped check valves are used in the main feedwater systems of subcritical, supercritical, and ultra supercritical boilers. The valves are designed with strict flow channels to reduce flow resistance.
5) Swing check valves are used in the steam and water systems of subcritical, supercritical, and ultra supercritical boilers. They use built-in pressure plates to reduce valve leakage, and the valve disc adopts the extraction check valve technology imported from Japan to reduce opening resistance and prevent scratching of the sealing surface when closing.
